A fundamental principle upon which this Devon collective operates is to prioritise integrity of medium and be transparent in methodology. Using basic ingredient of colour, tone, texture, line, area and edge, their approach lacks disguise and allows for evidence of process and layering. The viewer is thereby allowed to enjoy the special characteristics of the particular medium chosen, and welcomed into a complete and timeless story of the work rather than simpy the final façade.
